My profession is very important to me—I cannot imagine doing anything else. I am most passionate about developing long term relationships with my patients while providing comprehensive care in a comfortable calm environment. This allows me to create and maintain great smiles for a lifetime!
I have always wanted to be involved in healthcare and found that dentistry provides the perfect balance of art and science, allowing me to be creative while, at the same time, help my patients.
Education and Continuing Education
I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1990 and completed my Doctorate of Dental Surgery there in 1992. I came to Vermont for my general practice residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, and decided to stay and make my home here.
I have continued my professional education by attending CE courses at advanced dental education centers including the Pankey Institute, the Dawson Academy, and Spear Education. This comprehensive training has kept me abreast of the most current philosophies and techniques in dentistry today. I am also a teaching faculty member at the University of Vermont Medical Center General Practice Dental Residency. In this role, my interaction with newly graduated dentists helps me reinforce my current knowledge.
